Long Overdue!

Who knew having a blog, a kid, a spouse and a job could be so time consuming! The obvious answer? Not me.

Back by popular demand, the Hardy's have a fresh new look and some pictures to share. We'll make more of an effort in 2011 to keep you updated.

Alex has become quite a little mynah bird lately.

PAT Carnival & Memorial Day Weekend

Hanging out at the Parents As Teachers "Carnival" - unfortunately, we just got word that our PAT educator has been laid off due to her part time status and the massive budget cuts in Missouri. Our last visit is 6/1 until further notice. BUMMER!!

Chilling out - Poolside, ice cold milk on the table

May 2010

Grandma Judy (or Nah-Nah) visited for the first two weeks of May - we were very busy with activities while she was here!

Grandma Judy got to try out the Wii and beat everyone at bowling, not bad for a first timer!

Aunt Allison and Grandma Hardy came to Columbia for Mother's Day as well. The last picture is of a hailstorm while Grandma Judy was here. It sounded like marbles were being thrown at the windows - everyone was up at 2am looking out the window. Alex never stirred!

Spring has Sprung!

This weekend we attended the MU vet school open house and hung out with Ava Barbaro. Alex also pitched in and helped plant her Elmo Tomato seeds from Aunt Allison. I have no doubt we will have beautiful red tomatoes thanks to Alex's green (and heavy handed) thumb. Enjoy the pics!

Happy Easter - PART TWO

The Hardy fam headed up to P-town for the Easter weekend - Alex enjoyed playing with her much older cousins, Grandma, Aunt Andrea & Uncle Dean.

She hunted eggs, colored eggs and showed off her pretty outfit at church on Sunday (even though the cute white shoes Mom bought her no longer fit!) - we were saved by the pink Pooh sneakers.

Happy Easter - PART ONE

Alex's class had very fun Easter party the Thursday before Easter (they were closed on Good Friday). Here are some pics of her buddies enjoying the egg hunt and some treats. They each made a "basket" earlier in the week out of an old milk jug. Very functional!

The last picture is of her BBFF (best BOY friend forever) - Bergen. They were cheesing it up for the camera. Stay tuned for Easter Part Two - Princeton, MO.

So we've been absent......we know!

Ok, after multiple complaints, we've gotten back on the ball and will try to do better with keeping you updated in 2010. Here's a QUICK recap of the end of '09/early '10.

November: Thanksgiving at Allison's, picking out a Christmas tree at Starr Pines, cheering on Katrina IRONWOMAN ARIZONA!, deer hunting in Princeton with the Maag's and G-ma Hardy.

December: Christmas in Princeton and Columbia, a visit from Naomi Lai

January: we pulled Alex's pacifier and went cold turkey (she did great!), attended a New Year Party with our friends from daycare ("Buggy", Graham & Bergen)

February: 18 month checkup with high marks and our last round of shots until Alex is four (phew)
