Happy Birthday - 24 weeks old!!

We're quickly approaching the beginning of solid foods and the arrival of some teeth (we think?).

This week, Alex starting sleeping in her own room in the big girl crib! She's doing very well with the transition and once we got a crib bumper, Mom and Dad could stop worrying about head bonks.....

Happy Birthday - 23 weeks old

Like most things, we found out quite randomly that Alex is a big fan of plastic bags. We've known for a while that she really likes the crinkly sound of plastic. Enjoy the video - a little dark, but still entertaining.

Happy Birthday - 22 weeks old

We recently had another PAT visit (Parents as Teachers) and our person recommended getting Alex a plain plastic bowl and some plastic practice golf balls. All together, we think it cost us less than $5 and she loves it - go figure!

Alex also started playing the game of peekaboo when we were folding her sheets. We've discovered that she really likes to be startled (?).

Happy Birthday - 21 weeks old

An exciting week here - Alex has figured out that she can stand up by herself if holding onto something. Also of note, she can sit up pretty well on her own, she does have issues with balance every now and again. (pictures and video below)
