Eye Boogie Update

This morning, no more eye boogies.......we called the doctor and they agreed that the culprit was likely a clogged tear duct. So, we didn't have to make a trip to the doctor's office. It may happen again, but it's nice to know she doesn't have pink eye, which is very contagious.

We had a big day today - we bought some diapers at the hospital pharmacy and decided to hang out with some of mom's co-workers.

Happy Birthday - 6 weeks old & eye boogies

Alex is 6 weeks old today - to celebrate, she woke up this morning with some wild eye boogies - see below. We suspect a clogged tear duct and will likely confirm this with the doctor tomorrow! She doesn't seem to mind it and the on call nurse we called at the doctor's office said it's either a clogged duct or pink eye -either way, it's not a big deal.

Today, I received an email from the manager of Labor and Delivery at Columbia Regional Hospital. Our baby's arrival helped set a new record at the hospital - August 2008- 176 deliveries (178 babies)!
